BEST BUDS!!!

So I just thought this was too cute. The brown blanket you see is kind of like Nuggett's "designated spot" on our couch. It is not uncommon to spot her there resting or just laying around as dogs tend to do. Anyway, on this particular day, without any sort of prompting, Lexi just climbed up & lay down beside Nuggett pretty as you please. I'm not sure if she was "claiming Nuggett's territory" (Ha!Ha!) or just wanted to hang out with her buddy for a bit. Either way I thought it was TOO cute!! These two really do get along quite well and I am glad of it. Nuggett was like our baby before we had the "real deal" and I don't know what we would have done had she not been such a GREAT 'kid dog'. She really is the best dog - as gentle as they come!! I hope she and Lexi stay buddies for a long time to come!!

Summer Fun With Friends

We had a fun summer day playing on the
waterslide at Lindseys with her precious
little ones, Caroline & Alleigh. Lindsey is
one of my best friends from church & High
School & remains a best friend to this day!
I am so glad we have daughters so close in
age (Alleigh is only 3mts older than Lexi).
They already play soooo well together &
enjoy each other alot!! ( See below for proof!!!)
Kayla & Kaity tagged along this day, as they do
fairly often, but believe me I enjoy the extra
hands. They are both so helpful & Kaity also
made a great playmate for Caroline. We truly
had a great funfilled day. Hope there are many
more summer days like these to come!!!!!!!

She always anxiously awaits the arrival of her Nonna & Pop, even before she is completely ready, as you can see in the first pic. She loves going to church, her favorite part for now being the music.

She already sings along and claps with everyone else. SOOOOO SWEET!!!

Another frog lover on our hands???

This is Lexi chasing a frog, although
her Daddy was the one who actually
caught him in the end. What I could'nt
believe is that she actually touched it
once he was caught. While Mommy
does like frogs, I would prefer that they
be of the inanimate nature. Real ones
actually freak me out a bit! Anyway,
maybe she will continue to be fearless when
it comes to these kind of things. She sure
was a lot braver than Mommy ( I wanted
no part in touching it!!)

Hanging out with Daddy

These shots are what we would call a
fairly rare moment, meaning our little
"busy bee" rarely stops for a second, let
alone takes time to cuddle. However, I
think her being a bit of a Daddy's girl might
have something to do with it! Either way I
think it is special to see how much she truly
loves her Daddy & I hope it stays that way
for a very long time!!

as they are now! I know we have to savor these

moments while we can because they just grow up
